You’ll notice that nothing changes on the User Fields page when swapping between Behaviour Tracking and volume and engagement, only the way the data gets processed and sent to the Performance Dashboard and Data Report.
To create a new fields content, navigate to the Fields section and select "Add Row" under the Fields header. You will then be presented with specific details to complete. Begin by choosing one of the user field types: Text, Select, Email, Phone Number, or Date Picker.
Following that, specify a Field Label and Field Name, with the latter adhering to camel case, as demonstrated in the screenshot below. Finally, by switching on the Required toggle, you can make sure users are required to input information, enhancing the Lead Capture form with authentication features.
To disable one of the fields you’ve created for the Behaviour tracking (sign in) form or Lead Capture form, simply toggle the option off.
And if you only want a particular filter (e.g. an International Undergraduate who wants to study Chemistry) to see the question, you can do that too.
This can also be extended to options within a select field itself, each option can be filtered in to only show to certain audiences. This lets you show users options that are directly relevant to the particular user e.g. A course select field would only show specific courses that are relevant to the subject area a user has chosen.
Marketing Fields
However, you can enable or disable Marketing Fields (the Email, Phone, SMS & Post checkboxes on the Profile Form) specific to the behaviour tracking (sign in) and Lead Capture forms.
