How events work on Vepple
Events in Vepple are made up of two core parts:
- Sessions: The individual talks, tours or streams
- Event Sections: The landing page that surfaces sessions and event information
Sessions are created independently. To show them to students, you assign them to sections (and optionally the map), then surface them using either an Event Section or a Relevant Sessions block (on a page builder or Guided Tour Content Drawer).
An Event Section behaves like a built-in Relevant Sessions block with additional capabilities (for example calendar and list views), alongside your event header and supporting content.
If sessions are not visible, they are usually not assigned, not surfaced, or do not match filters.
