How to set it up
Navigate to your CMS:
- Go to Groups > Edit Group > Assignments Panel (on the right side of your screen)
- Here you will see a list of all the possible places you can assign a post to these will include all existing sections and academia sections.
- Select any sections that have existing content grid blocks where you would like the group to appear.
- Next find your filter panels (the names of these will be specific to your own experience) on the right hand side of the page.
- Choose the audiences you want to show this particular post to, in the example below we have chosen to show it to undergraduate and postgraduate students, studying Art & Design, from any location.
Depending on whether the toggle for groups to respect post filtering is set to true you will get two different modes of behaviour:
- When enabled (default setting), individual Post filters are applied in addition to Group filters. This means that Posts will only be displayed if they meet both the Group and Post filtering criteria.
- When disabled, the Group will ignore individual Post filters and display all selected Posts.
