How to create a Video Post

[content type] field.  The selected item here, will determine the icon that shows on the postcard. For a video post, select ‘Video’ 

[add row] select the add row button, selecting the ‘video’ item from the pop up list

[Player] field - select the player for the video; YouTube, Vimeo or Kaltura

[Non audio described] - input the non audio described video URL which can be copied directly from your chosen video provider

• For YouTube: To link directly to a specific chapter, add its timestamp in the &t=HhMmSs format at the end of the URL (e.g., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIDEO_ID&t=1h2m30s for 1 hour, 2 minutes, and 30 seconds). This ensures viewers land exactly where you want them to start watching.

Accessibility Features

The remaining fields for videos are accessibility features for international audiences and to ensure your experience remains compliant with WCAG 2.2 by offering:

• Audio described versions of your videos

• Transcriptions 

• International Fallback links if your video provider is blocked
