User consents to x, y, and z cookie classes on the main website and are pushed to Vepple. We can now catch their cookie preferences so that they don’t have to reconfirm.
How it Works
To deep link students into Vepple with their cookie preferences already set, use the following query parameters:
cookies=1
(accept all cookies) orcookies=0
(decline all cookies) – This will override any other cookie-related parameters.analytics_cookies=1
oranalytics_cookies=0
– Specifically accept or decline analytics cookies.targeting_cookies=1
ortargeting_cookies=0
– Specifically accept or decline targeting cookies.functional_cookies=1
orfunctional_cookies=0
– Specifically accept or decline functional cookies.
If only one specific cookie type is set (e.g., analytics_cookies=1
), other types will be assumed accepted unless explicitly declined. This setup enables targeted control over students' cookie preferences, especially for analytics cookies, while maintaining alignment across platforms.
