A Group is a collection of content Posts that are organized around a specific topic, such as a building or a particular area of interest. Groups allow users to explore content visually through the content grid and the Explore by Map feature, enhancing the user experience by providing structured and thematic navigation.
Prerequisites
- Make sure you have created the Posts you intend to use in your Group.
- If your Group has a location e.g. when showcasing a building, make sure you have this noted down.
- Make sure you have a cover image in mind that is representative of the Group you are creating.
Creating a Group
- Go to your CMS > Select Groups.
- To create a new Group, click the Add New button /To edit an existing Group, select a Group from the All Groups list.
- Give your Group a title, for example, Chester House. Groups also support Display Titles, for more information read here.
- Toggle for Groups to Respect Post Filtering:
- When enabled (default setting), individual Post filters are applied in addition to Group filters. This means that Posts will only be displayed if they meet both the Group and Post filtering criteria.
- When disabled, the Group will ignore individual Post filters and display all selected Posts.
This allows flexibility in managing visibility while ensuring Posts appear appropriately within Groups.For more information please read Personalisation within Groups
- The left-hand side of the Group content panel displays a list of all available Posts.
- To add a Post to the Group:
- Search for or select the desired Post.
- Click on its title to move it to the right-hand side. Continue selecting Posts until you have added all relevant content.
- On the right-hand side, reorder Posts by dragging them up or down. The order displayed here determines how they will appear on the frontend.
Note: A minimum of one Post is required for the Group to be saved and displayed.
Group Settings
- Location: Choose whether the Group should appear in the Explore by Map feature.

- Set a Featured Image: This is on the bottom right handside of the Group info panel. The Featured Image serves as the cover image for the Group and appears in:
- The Content Grid
- The Explore by Map pin (all Groups are shown on the Explore by Map).
3. To change the Featured Image:
- Click Set Featured Image.
- Choose an image from your gallery.
- Click Update to save changes.
