To view your performance dashboards and Looker Studio reports, you need a Google account. If you currently log in with a Microsoft account, you can create a free Google account using your existing university email address — no Gmail address required.
Step 1: Go to the Google Account signup page
Open a web browser and go to accounts.google.com/signup. Enter your first name and click Next.
Step 2: Enter your date of birth and gender
Fill in your date of birth, select a gender option, and click Next.
Step 3: Choose to use your existing email
On the "Create an email address" screen you will see options to create a Gmail address. Instead, click Use your existing email at the bottom of the page.
Step 4: Enter your university email address
Type in your university email address (e.g. yourname@university.ac.uk) and click Next.
Step 5: Verify your email address
Google will send a verification code to your university inbox.
- Open your university email via Outlook as normal
- Find the email from Google and copy the verification code
- Enter the code on the Google page and click Verify
Step 6: Create a password and finish setup
Create a password for your new Google account and complete the remaining steps. You do not need a Gmail inbox — your university email address is your Google account login.
Step 7: Access your Looker Studio report
- Open the report link shared with you by your Vepple contact
- When prompted, sign in with your university email address and the Google password you just created
- You should now have access to the report
Note: If you see an "Access denied" message after signing in, the report may not yet be shared with your email address. Contact your Vepple representative to confirm access has been granted.
