- To add a To-do List, find the To-do List navigation item in your CMS, hover over it, and select "Add New".
- Add a title to your to-do list. This will help give users context behind it. For example, "Open Day To-do list". Please note; you can have multiple to-do lists for different audiences. If desired, you can use the “Display Title” - more information on this is available here.
Add a to-do list item.
- Click the "Add Row" button to add a to-do list item.
- Add a title for the item by entering text into the "Heading" input.
- Explain what you want users to do for this task by providing instructions in the "Copy" field.
Add a completion condition (optional)
- You can assign each item on the to-do list a completion condition.(this is optional) This may be a page or CTA that you would like your students to visit in order to clear off their to-do list. In order to achieve this, toggle on the "Add completion condition", and you'll get presented with an extra row of information to fill in.
- If the action requires the user to visit another part of your virtual experience, like the Accommodation Section, set the Condition Type dropdown to "Internal".
- If the content is for another website, use the "External" option from the dropdown list. This is useful for directing students to external resources like university websites or online sign-up pages.
Filtering your to-do list.
Filtering of to-do lists occurs in one of two ways:
- The to-do list itself can be filtered as a whole. For example, one universal to-do list shown to all undergraduate students. This is done in the same way posts are filtered. For more information see this article.
- Individual items within the to-do list are conditionally shown based on the filters selected by the user. For example: A to-do list is created and filtered to show for all prospective Engineering students (as per 1.) but with specific items displayed for Mechanical Engineering and others for Electrical Engineering. More on this below.
How filter individual to-do list items:
- On the item that you’d like to filter to a given audience, select the "Filter" tab (surrounded by a red box in the screenshot below).
- For each created item, you can choose which filter to apply (for example: "Study Level" or "Subject Area"). If no filter is selected, the item will show to everyone.
