Please note, that embeddable widgets are being phased out in favour of group embeds. While you can edit your existing embeddable widgets, you will not be able to create new ones. If you would like to set up an embed, please use group embeds. Use this article to guide you.
To create an embed you'll need to be logged in as an "Admin".
First login to the CMS and then browse to "Vepple Embed > Embeddable widgets". To create a new embed press "Add New"
Creating a 360 panorama embed
- Give your embed a name - this won't be shown anywhere public, it's just for internal use.
- Under "Embed type" choose "Panorama"
- Select whether you'd like to use a horizontal or vertical layout
- Optionally add a heading, description and button settings - if you don't want these things on the embed, leave them blank.
- Select which 360(s) you'd like to include in the embed and in what order
- Set whether you'd like auto-load and auto-rotate enabled by default.
- Publish the embed
- Copy the embed code from the bottom of the page into the destination web page
Cookies and Google Analytics
By default we add the google analytics gtag.js script to embeds when they load. This enables us to measure usage of the embeds across all sites that use them.
We give the option to opt out of this behaviour by adding the attribute analytics="false" to the embed code generated in the CMS. This is useful in case you wish to toggle on analytics only when a user has accepted cookies via a cookie banner for example.
